Katie & Ryan's Kinney Bungalow Wedding (by Jen)!
Off-season is such a snooze. Oh wedding season, please hurry up and start! In the end of 2012 I hoarded some of my super fun summer weddings anticipating the ennui I knew then I would be feeling now in dark and cold of February 2013... and since ol' Nemo essentially shut down South Main Street and I have snow in my knee-high boots I figure it's definitely time to break out the sun.Katie and Ryan are nothing if not sunny. And funny. And truly lovely together. I've known Katie's family for a long while having been her Dad's neighbor back in the day and having done some portraits of her niece and nephew, so it was a real pleasure to work with them again (even though her niece and nephew are now officially big kids, making me officially older than it ever occurred to me I could be!) Katie, Ryan and I had a great time laughing and joking while we shot engagement pictures, and essentially every time we saw each other so I knew the wedding would be quite the pants-off, drinks up party. And man, it delivered!Their wedding took place at Kinney Bungalow in Narraganset and B&M Catering created a feast of untold, epic proportions. A feastivus, I would call it. (There's nothing better than piles of yummy food.) They had lots of fun, cute, and sentimental details, including my favorite; sunflowers, as they were the favorite of Ryan's recently passed Mom. There was a perfect father-daughter dance, a head-butt on the couple's first dance (the picture of which I'm proud to say, made a prominent feature in their album), tearful toasts, and a visit from the ice cream truck for some late night dessert! They also had the Zenobia Photo Station, which their guests went nuts in! All in all, a perfect wedding for a perfect couple. For now, here are some of my fav's of the day!!!!!
