What if my body isn’t in the best shape?
Let’s be honest. Unfortunately, for most women there will never be a time when you feel your body is the “best” it can be. But the truth is that the things we obsess over, a few pounds, some stretch marks, blemishes etc. make little difference. What makes a difference is confidence, the way you carry yourself, and the way you express yourself. It’s my job to pose you and light you in the most flattering way possible. Clients who’ve done a session with me always come out of it saying “I was so nervous but that was so fun, I feel amazing!”
Most women rarely have an occasion to indulge themselves. We wear multiple roles in life - girlfriend, wife, mother, friend, employee, boss, - and we see ourselves in our roles. This is a chance to see just you.
What should I wear?
I encourage you to hold off on scrolling Pinterest for ideas from other people’s boudoir sessions, just for a sec, and instead look inward and think about things that make you tick. Maybe it’s the Art Deco aesthetic or workout wear, or greenery, florals and nature… pick up an art book or fashion magazine or watch a film set in your genre and let the ideas germinate. I don’t work off of a canned shot list, I work off of fresh inspiration. Here are some examples from past clients:

Yes, indeed. Just as God intended!
What do women do with their pictures?
Some women make an album or keepsake as a gift for their partner’s birthday, for an anniversary or as a wedding gift. I often shoot boudoir sessions for clients whose weddings I will be shooting in a few months, and it’s awesome to see the groom’s reaction when he opens up the gift! You can even include your own words in your gift making it even more special!
I have one client who does a session every year and keeps all of the images in a password-protected file on her iPad. Some clients create an album which they keep for themselves in a drawer or in the back of a closet to pull out when they need reminding. Once I get to know you I can recommend the perfect thing.
I have no idea how to pose, I’m going to look ridiculous!
Nope, you won’t at all, because I got you. I will pose you and prompt you and make sure you look your best. I’ve shot hundreds of sessions, literally, nothing you bring will shock me or surprise me or throw me off. With me, you will feel seen and respected and like you can 100% be yourself, promise.
