Amanda & Rich's Castle Hill Wedding (by Jen)!

Amanda already thought of ALL of them! Her theme was pink, pearls, and lace, SO scrumptious!This wedding was absolutely stunning and showed Castle Hill as beautifully as I've ever seen it! Amanda and Rich held their destination wedding here, hosting guests from around the country and around the world. I really loved seeing the guests walk on to the property and, literally, gasp when they saw the view, and the beautiful tent and the specially constructed mini tent and bar that were set up on the lawn. Ryan (coordinator extraordinaire for Castle Hill) brought everything together seamlessly and kept the day running perfectly, she is truly a pleasure to work with. Toni Chandler outdid herself. Her florals were unbelievable. My favorite was the crystal chandelier that hung from the ceremony arbor, what a cool idea???Sweetheart Amanda was so excited when I showed up, and she was SOOO ready to get started. I love that nervous excitement when it's almost time for the day to start, the energy is almost tangible and it makes for great candids. Amanda and Rich had a first look in the garden and then we shot some of their portraits all around the property. Their ceremony was absolute perfection; the sun, the breeze, the view, the sailboats, Amanda's walk across the lawn, Rich's ear-to-ear grin when he saw her, and their parent's tears, timeless. We shot a few more portraits during cocktail hour and then it was time to party! Castle Hill is definitely one of my favorite places to photograph because there are so many places to shoot around the property, and so many ways to do it, I could never run out of ideas.Amanda and Rich also had the Zenobia Photo Station, and I seriously laughed for an hour going through the photos, not all of which are PG rated, I might add... totally hilarious, the best kind of photo station shot!We finished off the portraits with one last night shot which you can see at the very end, just love these!!!The party was INSANE, Boss Band did an incredible job of keeping the dance floor full and hopping. Amanda and Rich's guests came up with some seriously awesome moves, one of which included the groom's brother and my camera... what's a girl to do when called to the floor? Why answer, of course!!!
