Marissa & Jeff's Fabulous Wedding at Lake of Isles (by Jen)

Marissa makes me smile. She's your best friend from High School who you called every night to gab with about the boy who Tracy said looked at you when you weren't looking because he totally likes you though he could have been looking at Kira behind you because that's the only realistic possibility because Rebecca's the only other girl near you and shes, well, you know .... This is to say, she's the type of friend who would totally have the patience for that rubbish, if it was important to you. She's as genuine as they come, fun, and thoroughly good stuff. Jeff is a sweetheart and wins the award for most adorable groomsmen gifts, and gifts for his bride (um...a car. Yep. Men all over America better start ponying up because Jeff has seriously set the bar a lot higher!) He owns Vanity, for those Rhode Islander's who have a clue. It's FABULOUS. You must visit. It's an order.Jeff and his groomies hit the links in the AM, because thats what they do, all of the time, SERIOUS golfers here! Jeff's Dad was his Best Man (*sniffle*) and he gave a tear-jerker toast. The groomsmen tore up the dancefloor all night. Hilarious!Marissa and her sisters and best friend got ready in the house they grew up in. It was amazing and beautiful to watch Marissa's parents help her prepare for this big day. I could almost see a film reel of Marissa's life passing in front of their eyes as they got ready to send her off. I can't imagine helping prepare my own sweet daughter for her wedding, I'm tearing up just thinking about it and she's not even a year old yet! (I just hope I look as good as Marissa's Mom did!) Marissa's Dad made scarce most of the time, getting ready in his own way. The look on his face when he saw her all dressed was absolutely priceless (Sorry Pops, if you're reading this, I didn't mean to blow up your spot!) The girls dressed Marissa in her bedroom, which still had all kinds of toys, awards, and the bouquet of ribbons from Marissa's shower, priceless. Her gown is SO Audrey and she looked absolutely beautiful. The Audrey reference is ironic in a way seeing as how Marissa totally has Audrey's tiny, impossibly perfect nose (#in my dreams!)So much more to say, and so much more to come. Have I mentioned that I love these two? Well I do. Really do. And I hope it shows in my photos. For now...
