Maternity Shoot With Sam and Corey at Brenton Point
Getting a maternity shoot done is a great way for you to celebrate your pregnancy! Even though the discomfort from nausea or just the constant fatigue of being pregnant might instantly make you say no to a shoot, consider the session as a celebration of this amazing time in your life (and your glorious belly!) Just like weddings or engagements, maternity shoots are a way to document and be able to relive this moment in your life for years to come.
I photographed Sam and Corey's wedding a few years ago and, fortunately, got the chance to photograph Sam with her beautiful baby belly too! The lawyers, who met in law school, are just as much in love today as they were on the day they said I do. I was so happy when they contacted me to be their photographer for this shoot, and when I met them, my heart was instantly full of love!

From the moment I met them back when we were planning their wedding photography, Sam and Corey impressed me with how they like to do everything their way. They know what they like, what they want, and they love and support each other in a truly incredible way. I got to see that during their wedding, and when I did the maternity shoot, I still saw the exact connection between the couple.
During the shoot, both mom and dad-to-be were all smiles and glowing! Samantha, who was a great sport, even brought two extra outfits for the shoot. It was so heartwarming to see how committed they were to document this beautiful time in their lives. As we took the photos, Corey was so sweet, helping Sam walk on the rocks, and he couldn't wait for the cuddly poses when he could pet her belly. This was the perfect moment for me to take photos of the parents-to-be just cuddling together. For me, their excitement to meet their little one is all over the photographs!
Sam looked absolutely gorgeous with the cutest little round belly. I took many solo shots of the mommy-to-be as she gave me her best poses! She looked so lovely, simply cradling her belly. A few months later, the couple welcomed a baby boy! And guess who took those newborn photographs? Me! I was so honored (again) to be able to photograph such a life-changing moment in Sam and Corey's lives!
