One of the best things about being a wedding photographer is that you really don't know where your next wedding photography gig might take you! And I was recently reminded of this when Jenna and Johnny invited me to photograph their wedding at their family farm. I had such an amazing time being a part of this "wild" party and got to witness so many new things like the groom's pet pig and the bride's horse following them around on their wedding day! This was definitely one of the most memorable weddings I have ever photographed, and I can't thank my bride and groom enough for choosing me as their wedding photographer. There's no way I would have missed this chance!

Jenna and Johnny's Family Farm Wedding

I have always said that love has the strangest ways to come into people's lives. Similarly, Jenna and Johnny met by complete chance, and now they are both partners in life and in running Johnny's family farm. They have pigs, pheasants, peacocks, horses, lambs, goats, etc., and they both absolutely love being connected to nature. And for two nature lovers, I can't imagine what would have been a better way to get married! My bride and groom's wedding was almost like an ode to their love for nature. I especially loved how much of their personalities reflected in how they planned their wedding.

Besides all their friends and family who gathered at the farm to celebrate Jenna and Johnny's union, Tre, their pet pig, who lives at home with them, also attended the wedding as a guest. Gunnah, Johnny's dog, who follows him everywhere, even followed him to the altar. Even the couple's horses were a part of the guest list. It was just an overall amazing party, and the energy and vibe at this wedding were simply something I had never seen before. There was so much joy and laughter and tears, and it was clear to me that these two were dearly loved.

To take things up a notch, Johnny rode his tractor through the cocktail hour, and his bride took some pictures on it during the night. These two really just wanted to get through the day while having as much fun as possible, and I think that reflects in the photos as well. I love how open everyone was with their emotions and how they pretty much showered Jenna and Johnny with love and support. Also, during the reception, Tre walked around getting appetizer handouts from everyone. I mean, who can say no to a guest like that?
